ECO ECU is an innovative product which we are particularly proud of. ECO ECU is a loose engine management system (ECU) that is connected to the existing original system,which is already present in the vehicle. The ECO ECU is made to communicate with the existing ECU and thus with the engine. We programme the ECO SETTING onto the ECO ECU (external).
The ECO ECU,a freely programmable external ECU,cannot be compared with a Powerbox!
A Powerbox adjusts injection control and only manipulates the rail pressure sensor or MAF. This does not create an optimal fuel mixture and makes the rail pressure too high,thus reducing lifespan and creating a greater release of harmful gases. Powerboxes do provide you with some results,but never a correct air/fuel mixture ratio. They often give problems and are inferior to our externally applied ECO ECU.
An external ECO ECU is so advanced that it can even be adjusted afterwards,while driving! This proves that an external ECU is absolutely no Powerbox and fully cooperates with the original electronics.
Some types and models have factory-installed engine management detection. When reprogramming takes place directly in the engine,it can be used to notify the manufacturer of reprogramming when,for example,your car is serviced and connected to diagnostic equipment. In such a case,the warranty becomes void. Vehicles that still fall under the manufacturer’s warranty and that include this detection,are optimised with an external ECU. This ensures that the warranty does not become void,as there are no changes to the original engine management system
